New York Public Library Postpones Release of Revised Renovation Plan; New York Times, 10/23/13
Robin Pogrebin, New York Times; New York Public Library Postpones Release of Revised Renovation Plan:
"The New York Public Library will not release revised plans for its 42nd Street flagship renovation — or independent cost estimates of alternative options — this fall as expected, the library said on Wednesday.
“The design work is complex, and we are committed to getting it right to provide a transformative library experience for our users,” the library said in a statement. “Accordingly, our schedule has changed. We now expect to unveil the new design sometime after the New Year.”"
