10/23/13 Library Leadership & Management Association (LLAMA) Webinar: "Library Security: The Basics and Beyond" Wed., Oct. 23, from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m. (Central time) Description: This webinar will provide the skills necessary to manage threatening situations in the library. Discussion will address theoretical concepts, behavior policies, working with local law enforcement both in and out of the library, library banning policies, staff communication tools, and assessment for dangerous behavior. In addition, strategies for avoiding threatening behaviors will be reviewed.
